The Center for Arts Management and Technology recently launched the new and improved version of TechnologyInTheArts.org, which brings CAMT’s various services together in one convenient location. The Center welcomes visitors to explore the site and provide feedback through the new site's contact page.
 
CAMT to Attend National Performing Arts Convention

The Center for Arts Management and Technology will be in Denver, CO, June 10-14, 2008, for the National Performing Arts Convention, a gathering of nearly 5,000 individuals with an interest in the nonprofit performing arts. CAMT developed the 2008 NPAC Web site and conference registration system. If you're planning to attend NPAC and you'd like to schedule a free 20-minute tech consultation with a CAMT staff member, please contact us to set up an appointment. CAMT will also be available in the NPAC exhibit hall, booth 211.
 
CAMT to Attend American Association of Community Theatre's 2008 Convention

Brad Stephenson, one of CAMT's lead consultants, will be in New York City July 10-12, 2008, for the American Association of Community Theatre's 2008 Convention. If you're planning to attend the AACT Convention, please stop by and see Brad in exhibit hall room C.
 
CAMT the University of Waterloo Present Technology in the Arts: Canada

Carnegie Mellon's Center for Arts Management and Technology recently partnered with the Centre for Cultural Management at the University of Waterloo to present Technology in the Arts: Canada 2008. The conference was held May 9-10, 2008, on UW's campus in Waterloo, Ontario. David Dombrosky, CAMT's executive director, coordinated conference programming; Brad Stephenson, CAMT's director of projects and marketing, presented a podcasting workshop (notes and tutorial now available); and Josh Futrell, CAMT's client support specialist, lectured on Web content management. Presentation materials will be available soon at TechnologyInTheArts.ca.
